So a quick update I know I said my next blog post would be about a few temu orders (I have more then a few orders to be honest) but uh some issues have come up in the UK and I have to take a urgent trip back there to help with a few things and check on things as well. My daughter is of course in school and I can not have her miss school (unless it’s a Dr’s appointment!) concidering I basically homeschooled her for the previous school year I rather not put her possibly behind more so she is going to be staying with my parents for the couple of weeks I am gone, just so she can keep up with school. However my son will be going with me as he is to much of a handful for my parents and those that will be helping my parents when need be. I do have a couple of weeks before I leave as that is the soonest I can get a reasonably priced plane ticket for my son and myself.
So I am trying to plan and pack for us ahead of time I know there is a few food items I want to take as I can’t get them in the UK and I have had a request by my husband to make one of his favorite meals which includes using stewed tomatoes which I will be taking a couple of cans for the very reason of they don’t have stewed tomatoes in the UK. He also requested I bring malt-o-meal frosted mini wheats, he says they taste better then the ones over there and a very large 36 oz bag is cheaper then buying the same amount over there even the store brand when he can find them. I know I need to get a few food items to take with me for my son that he gets as treats like the marshmellows that are used in cereals like lucky charms or marshmellow mateys i think its called, along with cherry poptarts, cap’n crunch oops all berries and trix.
I am trying to keep the amount I am taking with me to the uk down to 1 carry on, 1 check on, my backpack and a small bag to hold some of my sons stuff in I will also be taking a reuseable shopping bag as I will be getting some food at the airport as I can’t really eat a lot of the food offered on the air plane as I am a bit picky.I am really sad that I can’t use Air New Zealand as they were the only ones I could eat air plane food with as they offered a fruit platter and it was always so darn good! plus the sky couch was fricking AMAZING! I wish I could have both of those things on the up coming flight but sadly I can only get a reasonably price plane ticket with British Airways plus I don’t think Air New Zealand flys out of Denver International Airport anyway!
Now thankfully I did go shopping on Friday and was able to find some little pots at walmart in their travel size section. I bought two twin packs of pots these pots hold .75oz which is great because the products I put in there are the kind of products that a little bit goes a long way and truth be told the products original containers are well really large for how much product they really contain. I also got two containers for shampoo & conidtioner however I am debating if I use on to put a serum in as I really like this serum I bought.
Now I need mention here my first post about my temu “haul(s)” or orders will be about some skin care products I bought as some of these products are what I am taking with me in some of these travel pots/containers. I will possibly post an update(s) as my travel time comes closer and when I finally arrive in the UK for the short time I will be there! But anyway I pretty much have our bags packed, I have our outfits all picked out for the day and for the entire time we are there, I have my list of things I need to get done and meals I plan to make when I am there etc. I like being prepared and I like making lists and planning things in advance!
I will be putting up a blog post about the skin care stuff I bought on temu in the next week or two maybe sooner depending on how I am feeling and what all I have on my plate to do. I do want to state if you don’t like temu that is ok you have every right not to like temu and I respect that. But I personally do like temu as they have a lot of sellers with really cool stuff and yes some of it is knock offs but if you don’t have lots of money and you have a child in your family that likes say Sanrio or these little meemeow cat plushies the quality of the items for the price is really good. I also would not doubt that a lot of these knock offs are made in the same factories that make the branded items. I am not one of those people that have issues with my stuff being made in China as damn near everything anymore is made in China even the cold and flu medicine sold at walmart is made in China! Anway until my next blog post have a good day. a good week, a wonderful weekend and a great month! Thanks for reading!
