My Simple Wyoming Life

So my family shops at three stores that are the closest to us & my favourite is Ridleys Family Market in Laramie,WY. On average it has better offers and coupons then the other two stores we frequent. Starting from Sept 24th through to Oct 7th they are having a case lot sale which is fantastic as I like prepping anyway and well winter can be harsh from my understanding here in Wyoming and I rather have enough on hand if the worse happens then not have enough.

Now we did go shopping this past Friday and sadly a few things we wanted were gone like all-purpose & bread flour, the type of hunts pasta sauce we like seemed to be gone, we could not find the pasta we wanted either these are just to name a few as both my parents and myself wanted these. However they did have my Nissan chicken flavoured ramen which was in total $6 for a case of 24 packs making them 25 cents each! They had a 20lb case of chicken tender for $35 making the chicken tenders only $1.75 per lb which is great! I got a case of 24 cans of Mandarin orange segments in light syrup for only $18.98 making those only 79 cents roughly a can.

We do plan on going back to Ridleys before the sale is over. I personally want to get the following items:2x but at least 1x case of 24 packs of Nissan chicken flavoured ramen at $6 a case. At least one case of 24 boxes of food club brand mac & cheese at only $9.36 (making that 39 cents a box). A case of 24 cans of food club brand corn or green beans at $14.16 (making those only 59 cents a can). A case of 20 of allegra pasta for only $13.80 a case (making each 16oz pack only 69 cents each). A 12 pack case of Allegra egg noodles at $8.28 (making it 69 cents per 12 oz pack). 2 cases of 12 cans of food club brand beans at $8.28 a case (making each 15.5oz can 69 cents). 2 case of 24 cans of food club stewed tomatoes at $16.56 a case (69 cents per 14.5 oz can). a case of 48x 6oz cans of original tomato paste at $33.12 (69 cents per can). A case of 24 cans of Chef Boyardee at $21.36 (89 cent per can). At least one case of 24 cans of food club hominy at $21.36 (89 cents per can).A case of 12x 2lb bags of powdered sugar at $17.88 (1.49 per 2lb bag). 1x 25lb bag of food club brand bread flour at $6.88 a bag. 1x 25lb of food club brand wheat flour at $6.88 a bag (might get 2 each of the flours). 2x 25lb bags of food club brand sugar at $11.99 a bag (grant it was down to $9.99 a few weeks back but they hardly had it in!). At least another case of 24 cans of food club brand Mandarin oranges in light syrup at $18.96 (that 79 cents per 11oz can). 2x 64oz bottles of Mrs. buttersworth syrup at $7 for both bottles ( thats $3.50 a bottle). At least 1x 10lb bag of Krusteaz pancake mix for $6.99. 2x cases of 12 jars of food club brand pasta sauce at $11.88 per case (99 cents per jar). 2x cases of 12 boxes Jiffy muffin mix at $10.44 a case (87 cents per box. I just love this muffin mix it was the best thing of my childhood!). At least 1x 20lb bag of food club brand long grain rice at $9.88 a bag. Another 20lb box of chicken tenders at $35 a case ($1.75 a lb). A 50lb box of russet baker potatoes at $15 a box (making that what 30 cents a lb). A 25lb bag of yellow onions at $7 a bag (making that around 28 cents a lb). So all of that before any type of tax would be $383.21 and listen I can’t remember if there is tax on some of this stuff if I manage to buy all of this Ill let y’all know if anything had tax and how much it was.

Just a side note on the temu blog post that will be broken up into a couple of post which those will be coming out with the first one possibly coming out before I leave on my short urgent trip back to the UK to take care of a few things.
