I been back in Wyoming for a bit now and I’ll admit I lost my marbles in the first few days when I came back to find things in my part of the house moved or not left in a certain way which has made us (mostly the husband and me in a bad mood), but things are going a lot better now. When we flew in to Denver International Airport,CO at the start of Dec 2024 it was windy but clear (I’ll admit it was one of the worse landing I have experianced!). However driving away from the airport and into wyoming it started to rain and then snow, driving between Laramie and Rawlins on I believe highway 30 it’s the Lincoln highway (it takes you through Laramie, Bosler, Rock River, Medicine Bow, Hanna, Elk Mountain & Walcott towards Rawlins it also has a few off shoots one of which takes you to Wheatland) anyway the fog from Bosler up towards Rawlins was horrible! But we made it home safely!
I cooked & baked quite a bit this holiday season I tell ya. I cooked a rib roast to the temp my parents wanted (it was pretty much raw in the middle and I had to fry my peice so there was no more blood). I cooked a large lasgana for the whole family and the left overs made a great lunch! I made my favourite bread machine recipe for Italian white bread however I did play around with it and added a touch of honey to help the yeast and I used dark wheat bran instead of some of the bread flour and I added poppy seeds and sesame seeds to the top, everyone loved them! I made two cheesecakes and a batch of chocolate chip cookies with both milk and white chocolate chips and some jumbo fruit cake muffins at my mothers request and thats just to name a few things! We did some shopping for Christmas gifts for the family back in the UK and I will say my daughter got a LOAD of stuff this holiday season but kids being kids she much preferred one of her little brothers gifts, the gift in question was a spinning sensory chair we found on temu and it’s really good quailty!

But I can’t believe my time with my husband has come to an end for now as we are hopefully going to be starting his visa in the next few months, So hopefully we will not have to be seperated for to long. We had to drive my husband back to Denver International Airport Jan 1 to catch his flight which the drive was not to bad as we had really good weather that day. However it sucked seeing my husband off but I know it’s not going to be forever and hopefully as I said above we will start his visa in a few months. I have been thinking about doing videos about some of the day to day things/ shopping “hauls” and maybe even some gardening/DIY but I am not sure about it but I was gifted a small little action camera (knock off go pro type) for the holidays on the off chance I wanted to start doing video’s.. I don’t know about it though, would the very few people that read this blog even be interested in any video(s) I made? Eh well thats a issue for another day, I hope your holidays wither it be Chirstmas or Hanukkah or any other was full of fun, family, love and laughter or any good thing you wanted it to be! Lets make 2025 a good year for all of us eh?
