Our local Ridleys has a case lot sale going on, my husband (who is still in the UK bless him) saw how excited (yes I was excited!) about our local ridleys is having a case lot sale from Sept 23- Oct 3, so my husband sent me some money to stock up for winter as much as I could with the case lot sale as well as buy milk replacement and bottles as we believe our Rosie girl is going to have puppies sometime around the first or second week of Oct.
I have spent around $192.21 thus far on the case lot sale, I bought the following.
- 1x 50lb box of potatoes.$14.
- 1x 24pk of Maruchan ramen noodles. $6.
- 24 cans of food club beans (black,cannellini,dark & red kidney).$14.16.
- 1 case (48 cans) of food club chunk light tuna.$33.12.
- 3x 25lb bag of food club sugar.$35.95.
- 4x25lb bags of Ridleys unbleached, enriched bread flour. $31.96.
- 1x25lb bag of Ridleys unbleached, enriched all purpose flour.$7.99.
- 24 cans of tomatoe’s (stewed,petite diced).$17.67
- 1x10lb box of Fuji apples. $10.
- 24 boxes of jiffy blueberry muffin mix.$21.36
I have not managed to buy everything but I have got a good amount thus far and no I dont expect the potatoes or apples to last long as those were bought for using now. There are still things in the case lot sale I want to get but those items they have loads of i.e unbleached, enriched AP flour vs what they don’t have a lot of i.e unbleached enriched bread flour. So if I do get more items from the case lot sale I’ll post about it in a new post.
As for puppies we were not intending on breeding our dogs, however my father not thinking let my girl out with my boy and well it looks like she is going to have puppies soon as I said the first or second week of Oct. Thankfully we have a few family member that want a puppy if she has any. I will update if there is any puppies and maybe with photos. ANyway thank you once again for reading this post or any post here on my blog and once again I am sorry I have not been posting on a regular basis.
