Sick, Tired & Nap Ready.

Well lately I have not been feeling that great. I will admit I had to drop a class and this was down to health issues along with my physical limitations, I dropped the horsemanship class the saddle was to big for me along with the stirrups being too long even when they were adjusted to the shortest they could go. It sucks but I know that I had to do it, I also changed my focus so starting next semester I will be doing ranch management and not completing the equine management.

I do plan on applying to the University of Wyoming for next year as I will not have to live on campus or have a mandatory meal plan if I go there as it is only a hour drive away from my home vs 2 hours to get to LCCC (Laramie County Community College soon to be called Wyoming State College). I will talk more about this after I graduate or get my credit hours whatever one happens well happens either way I will be seeing about going to UW next year. I will say I do like my teachers they are wonderful, they really all and I will miss them because they do answer my questions even if I feel like they are dumb! I will miss them when I do to UW next year, I was going to try and get my AAS in LCCC ag and equine pathway but I have decided against that now, and again I will tell you all why after graduation or I get my credit hours.

I will say also say the housing RA’s are great, and they have put on a few events for us residents that have been quite fun! I have never done felting and thanks to the RA’s putting on a felting craft event called felt from the heart (I believe that’s the even name) I now have done felt crafting I will say using needles to help felt can be a bit tricky. The college also had a event called fall make and take I made my first ever slim there and now that I know how I have made some with my daughter at home! I also was able to make a body scrub and decoupage a white plastic pumpkin which was actually pretty fun!

Oh I don’t remember if I mentioned I was taking a 5 gallon fish tank and a betta to the college dorm with me in a previous post, but I did and now I have 4 mystery snails (2 ivory and 2 gold) and I love watching them in my fish tank! I do plan on buying a 10 gallon tank and a few blue shrimp I have also thought about having my betta at home for my daughter and buying a small school of blue dragon guppies. Decisions, decisions, I will say I know my daughter loves my betta fish so I know it would get fed and it would give her a pet of “her own”.

College has been going well class wise and I have really enjoyed learning from my teachers, there are a few things I am still confused about but like I said they are wonderful teachers and will help and explain things to you if you don’t understand. I think my favorite class is my intro to animal science, followed by my equine and agribusiness law (which that class is not required for the ranch management certificate how would have thought? defiantly not me!), my strategies for success class and finally my equine management class I personally find this one the hardest as there is some technical names/terms I need to remember for this class plus I suck at spelling.

Until my next blog post have a blessed day, week, and month.
